Job Training
CIWA’s Job Training Programs are designed to help immigrant women who come to Canada with a range of education and experience levels, build effective employability skills and make them job ready for the Canadian job market.
There is a huge list of programs that women can choose from according to their previous work experience, education level and areas of interest.
The list includes, Companion Training, Childcare Training Pathway, Fast Track Employment Training for Immigrant Women, Food Service Training, Line Cook Training, Modular Employment and Retail Training Program.

Companion Training
Companion Training provides immigrant women with skills and knowledge to fulfill the companionship needs of seniors or individuals with disabilities or long term health issues.
Childcare Training Pathway
Childcare Training Pathway trains and assists low skilled immigrant women to obtain a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator Certificate.
Fast Track Employment Training for Immigrant Women
Fast Track Employment Training for Immigrant Women provides mid-skilled immigrant women training in one of 3 tracks, individualized support and employment skills training.
Food Service Training
Food Service Training provides low to mid skilled immigrant women with training to enter the quick service industry.
Line Cook Training
Line Cook Training provides mid skilled immigrant women with training to enter cook, prep cook and kitchen help roles.
Modular Employment
Modular Employment Training provides low skilled immigrant women training to enter housekeeping, room attendant and kitchen help roles.
Retail Training Program
Retail Training provides low skilled immigrant women training to enter retail roles.
